Miner's Tears 1: Captain Veldruk

There he was: Captain Veldruk quietly mining in a little belt in the corner of the Hjortur system. Mr. Veldruk was not pleased when I confiscated a full cargo container of ore he had left lying about, so the man returned in a Bestower, and attempted to take as much ore as he could in a "snatch and grab" play that utterly failed!

A hint, Mr. Veldruk, do not take the item until you are aligned and ready to warp.

One can only imagine the terrible day of mining that could cause a scar of that magnitude!

I lay waste to his Bestower, leaving a sliver of hull remaining before I offered Mr. Veldruk a ransom proposition. Instead of looking kindly upon my offer, Mr. Veldruk decided to take matters into his own hands and destroy his own ship! Fortunately, for Mr. Veldruk the contraband he had removed from my cargo container remained intact. However, what ensued was the snarkiest, perhaps the most inappropriate tirade I have yet experienced during my time in New Eden. Enjoy!
